A couple of weekends ago, I met with the Manchester Fashion Week gang for a chat about things to come, a browse through some new pieces from Ark Clothing and take part in a shoot with the lovely Charlotte of WamBam Photography.

The meet was held at the rather grand Radisson Edwardian hotel where we were treated to refreshments and had a good nosey around the hotel including their gorgeous spa.

Browsing some of Ark's new Spring arrivals which feature lovely pastel jumpers and collared dresses.

I loved the tartan dress most.

Chilling with these babes whilst waiting to have our photo taken; Katie, Danielle and Lola.

My outfit of the day:

Choker- eBay
Oversized shirt- charity shop
Lace bralet- Forever 21
Riding pants- American Apparel
Bag- Vivienne Westwood
Boots- eBay

It was great to have our outfit photos done by a professional for a change, certainly an improvement on my shots! (Sorry cameraman boyfriend).

We went up to the top floor of the hotel to have our shots done against the huge windows. The view across the city was awesome.

I love this shot of us all on the glass staircase. Look forward to seeing these girls again very soon.

A Very Special Sale Buy

This post is to introduce you to a bit of an extravagant buy I made in the sales.

Let me introduce you to new Vivienne Westwood handbag!

Isn't it amazing! It's from the cameo collection and although it isn't the one I originally wanted, I really love it's classic design, shape and gold hardware (very me).

I would never usually spend so much money on one item- I think it's the most expensive thing I've ever bought. In terms of fashion anyway...

It wasn't a purchase I made lightly though. I've wanted a Vivienne Westwood for probably as long as I've loved fashion. I saved for ages to get it which makes it all the more appreciated.

I'm sure you'll be seeing much more of it on my blog!

Have you made any grand purchases recently?

Plastic Fantastic

This is an outfit post from a date night the man and I had last week. It's our five year anniversary at the beginning of Feb but we decided to have a little early night out to celebrate. Mostly to do with the fact that the food at the restaurant we went to was half price throughout January- such the cheapskate that I am.

Cross necklace- Rock N Rose
Crop tee- Primark
Bangle- Ti Sento
Vinyl skirt- Love Sasha
Shoes- ASOS (sale)

I decided that it was appropriate to wear a PVC skirt (why not). I ordered this skirt from Fashion Union and found it really small fitting so sent it back for an exchange. Long story short, they massively fucked up my order (will not order from them again) and it had sold out before I knew what was going on with my exchange. I was therefore chuffed to find it on Love Sasha who basically do the same stuff but cheaper- result! They have quite a few colours in these (like the new pastel ones) for £16.99 so would definitely recommend giving them a look.

My amazing and talented friend is one half of Marion & Meredith; she gave me this fabulous bag from their 'new' range for my birthday but they also have loads of awesome carefully-chosen vintage pieces at reasonable prices so go check them out!

I also wore my beautiful Ti Sento bangle that I got at their store launch. For anyone in the north west, they have a great new shop in the Trafford Centre- take your man and get Valentine's hinting! ;)

What are you celebrating at the moment?
